Who is Spy Camp for?
Spy Camp is for all children who will be in Kindergarten-6th grade as of Fall 2015 interested in learning about spying. :)
What does my child need to bring to Spy Camp?
Your child will need to bring a lunch, water bottle, comfortable shoes (preferably tennis shoes), and sunscreen. We provide a small snack for the kids, but if your child has food allergies, please let us know. If you want to pack your child an extra snack, that is fine, or we can provide one. :)
What does my child need to bring on Friday?
On Friday, your child will partake in a Top Secret Mission, and then there will be a party, showcase for the parents, and then swimming. Your child will need a bathing suit, towel, sunscreen, and any other pool items they will need (i.e. floatation devices, goggles, etc.). You may either send these things with your child, or bring them with you when you attend our Spy Camp Showcase. Counselors will be in the pool, but we ask parents to stay and supervise their children while they swim. Lunch will be provided, again, if your child has any food allergies, please let us know and we will accommodate them, or you may provide their lunch on Friday. :)
What is the Showcase?
The Showcase is an opportunity for your child to share with you the things they have learned at Spy Camp. The Showcase is at the Rowley home and starts at 12:15 and is about 20 minutes long. After the Showcase is over, we invite you to stay until 2:00 and supervise your child while they swim. Counselors will be in the pool, but we ask parents to stay as an extra safety precaution. Siblings are welcome to attend the Showcase and swim. :)
What are the safety precautions?
The pool will have a net on it throughout the week. Counselors will be watching the kids at all times. We will have an adult supervisor at the location in case of emergencies.
How should I pay for Spy Camp?
We accept cash or check. Checks should be made out to Gretchen Barnes, and please write your child's name on the memo line. We ask that you please pay in advance. Please talk to us if you have any problems. The fee is $75 per child. Payment and registration may be sent to: 2746 Prospect Ave La Crescenta, CA 91214
