Another terrific day at Spy Camp today!! :) Today the kids hid a code within a picture, did some yoga and gymnastics, made invisible ink, and learned about secret surveillance. And had tons of fun at our CFE of course!! :)
Codes in pictures: Today Counselor Avery taught the kids how to hide top secret information in a picture, letter, or shopping list. The kids had fun using it as an excuse to color and relax. :)
Yoga and Gymnastics: Spies need to be physically fit and be able to keep their cool of course, so today Counselor Samantha Rowley led them through some relaxing yoga and helped a few kids out who wanted to better perfect their cartwheels, handstand, and backbends. Our kids were able to do some amazing things, and we'd like to give a shout-out to Sunny and Charlize for being awesome today! :)
Invisible Ink: Counselors Samantha Ozeas showed the kids how to make some really great invisible ink, and the kids had fun writing their names, drawing pictures, and giving secret messages to their friends.
Surveillance: In a fun game called "camouflage", the kids learned the most important rule of surveillance--don't be seen! The winner of our game was Quincy, who hid in the most unexpected, yet most effective hiding place--right behind the two Counselor Samanthas! Avery never even saw her!
CFE: Today in our CFE, the kids got to throw water balloons at the counselors. This really brought up each team's CFE points!! :) After they had each thrown three water balloons at the counselors, they got to throw two more at each other. Then, those who wanted to got a giant bucket of water dumped over their head! Luckily, the kids were able to dry off a bit before they got into their cars to go home. :) Let's look at the CFE scoreboard now!
3) Secret Spies: 75 points
2) Stary-Eyed Wolves: 76 points
1) Gryffindor Kitties: 84 points
Thanks again, we can't wait for tomorrow!!!! :)
