We apologize for not updating yesterday! But better late than never, and so here is a recap of Wednesday! :)
On Wednesday, we did disguises, escaping bonds, learning how to detect forgery, and did brush passes. And the kids had tons of fun during our CFE today!!! :)
Disguises: Each of the kids got to dress up like their cover, and many other things. They had a lot of fun picking through the clothes to create some interesting outfits! :)
Escaping Bonds: In escaping bonds, we give the kids tips on how to escape if they are ever tied up. And then we let them try it out! This is always a favorite, and the kids love to see how long it takes them to escape! :)
Forgery: No, don't worry, we didn't teach them how to forge signatures! Instead, we taught the kids how to spot a fake signature. They were given a worksheet, and had to pick out the fake signatures. For the most part, the kids did great! They noticed things like the length of the signature, the shakiness of the pen lines, the way certain letters looked different, and how hard the person pressed down on the paper. Good job guys, we're impressed! :)
Brush Pass: A brush pass is a must-have spy skill if you want to go far in field work. The kids worked on surreptitiously passing a pen cap between different agents, and even trying to keep it away from our enemy spies. :) And they did a great job!! :) Special shout-out to Charlize, who made some really awesome passes! :)
Wednesday's CFE: For our CFE, the kids did a fun relay race. They had to jump over a rope, jump-rope three times, jump back over the rope, and get a soccer ball past our fearsome goalie, Avery! They had tons of fun, and at the end, all of the teams ended up tied for the day at 27 points. :)
Thanks for coming to Spy Camp, we've had sooo much fun, and we are so sad that tomorrow is our last day.
Love, Samantha Rowley, Samantha Ozeas, and Avery Barnes :)
