Another fabulous day at Spy Camp! :) Today we did target practice, learned some self-defense moves, put on disguises, and played a surveillance game. And we were able to do our CFE today, so the kids got to earn some more points!
Target practice: Using Nerf guns with suction cup bullets, the kids got to work on their shooting. They did very well, and this helped them to earn some CFE points later on!
Self-Defense: Today our most experienced in self-defense, Counselor Kaitlyn, taught the kids what to do in case someone grabs ahold of them or they are attacked. So no need to fear, your kids are prepared! :)
Disguises: The kids had ton of fun today dressing up in all sorts of crazy disguises. We had dogs, princesses, dancers, and all sorts of other fun things. :)
Surveillance: To teach the kids about the art of surveillance, we had the kids play a game called camouflage. In the game, the kids all go and hide, and one counselor tries to spot them in their hiding place. The counselor can call out for everyone to make animal noises, and at a few points during the game, a number is held up. When the counselor yells "camouflage" everyone comes running to tag the counselor. The first one to tag the counselor and tell them the correct number wins.
CFE: In today's CFE, the kids had to shoot a target. Once they hit a certain number of bullets on the target, they were given a clue and had to find the matching piece of paper. The team that took the shortest amount of time won! The winner today was Scotland Yard.
CFE points so far:
3) Spy Girls: 3 pts
2) All-Star Agents: 6 pts
1) Scotland Yard: 7 pts
